Aww, the link didn't work. I've worked with Max at school. I heard Maya  was supposed to be alot nicer. I was eager to try it. =[

There is a free version.  It is the Personal Learning Edition.

Click the link above, fill out the information best you can and download it.  It is amazing software that is otherwise expensive, but that they are making available for free for personal non commercial use.
