Spend a week or the whole summer doing Learning Paths and competing in Challenge Activities.
Learning Paths
- Make a 3D Video Game
- Build a Mobile Phone App (using Google Android)
- Building Flashy Websites with JavaFX
- Learn Java Programming
- Make Exceptional Videos
- Digital Graphics Lab
- Animation Exploration
- Mix It, Mash It, Make Your Own Music
Each Learning Path is made up of a number of Activities that help you build your skills. Activities will take between ½ – 2 days to complete.The complete Learning Path will take roughly a week.
Challenge Activity
Each Learning Path include one or more Challenge Activities. These are contests that will leverage the skills developed in the Learning Path and provide an opportunity to compete for prizes from our sponsors: T-Mobile; Sun Microsystems; Skullcandy; Kahuna Creations; and Ed Hardy.
Badges
Upon completion of a Learning Path, Campers will receive Badges. These Badges will be visible on their FreshBrain profile and will indicate a level of accomplishment to other users and Campers. Campers will receive Badges for other reasons as well, including camp participation and winning Challenge Activities.

Camp Counselors and Advisors
Campers will be supported by FreshBrain summer interns. These "Camp Counselors" will monitor the progress of the Campers, keep the Learning Paths active and back up the social networking aspects of freshbrain.org by participating in discussions and answering questions. Expert "Advisors" will serve as backup support for issues that cannot be resolved by campers and interns.
Parents
Parents of our Campers will have the unique opportunity to see the activity and accomplishments of their children. They will see the Learning Paths they sign up for and the progress they are making, discussions they are participating in, contest submissions, friends they are making and the skills they are gaining.
