Description
Welcome to the second FreshBrain general scholarship, focused on providing funds for continuing education to teens who demonstrate excellence in what they CREATE with technology.
Due to the huge number and quality of submissions, we are behind in completing the judging. We will be done by the 7/17. Sorry for the delay.
Most scholarships today require the submission of essay's describing how you are right for the scholarship, and what you will be able to do as a result of receiving it. Our scholarship is different. We want to recognize what you have created and how you created it. It is not about how well you write. It's about how amazing the thing is that you made!
Overview:
We are interested in seeing what you can create and how you created it - with technology related to the following areas from the freshbrain.org website:
- Development
- Eco/Green
- Gaming
- Graphic Design
- Music
- Video/Movies
- Web
- Venture
This is very open ended. We don't want to limit your creativity. Show off your amazing graphic editing skills, create impressive special video effects, create a prototype of a new web business. Make your own cell phone application. Anything is possible!
Getting Started:
To get started, click on 'Start a New Project'.
It will allow you to create your project workspace. This workspace will provide you with a place to add updates along the way to creating your scholarship submission. It also provides a file manager where you will upload a file with the description of the steps you took to complete the submission as well as the submission itself.
When the project is complete, you must submit to be considered for the scholarship.
