Description

The 2009 FreshBrain Summer Virtual Technology Camp is NOW OVER.  The contests are CLOSED and prizes will be awarded as winners are selected.  The Learning Paths listed below are still available, and more Learning Paths will soon be available on the site!

Here's what you do.
  • Click on a Learning Path that looks like fun (you need to join the group).
  • Complete all Activities to earn a Badge (found under the Activity Tab).
  • Ready for something harder?  Try the Challenge Activity after you finish the Learning Path!
  • Do it again!

Progress Update 3/22/09

Another week and again lots of good progress.  Here are some highlights.

  • Completed our first mockup of a Learning Path (LP).  This is not public, but is the first step in proving that freshbrain.org is ready for summer.
  • We continued to develop the LPs and made connections with two partners, one that we have been working with, T-Mobile, and the other that is still developing, Disney!
  • Spent time working on improvements to freshbrain.org.  Things like the badging system and layout enhancements for LPs.
  • Started recruiting for our Camp Counselors (interns).  The plan is to have 20!

Hi, I'm currently a 16 year old, pursuing several certifications (A+, MCP, CCNA), and am heavily into technology in the forms of programming, networking, and software engineering.  Is there any way I could apply for a position as a Camp Counselor?  I would be really appreciative of that.
