I have been researching with adding different additives like gelatin and sucrose to add strength and ductility to the plastic. Initial results are promising and show about a 20% increase in strength. Next though I need to work on faster drying which should cut down on the shrinking and warping. I plan to try drying it in a vacuum chamber to quickly remove the moisture.
