I am currently brainstorming for an idea to make a great short intro for a show. Since it will be shown in every episode it needs to be decently short yet very entertaining, otherwise the audience will get bored of it. I'm thinking about mixing a 2D world with a 3D world. Since the show includes the two hosts (known as Kusho and LumberArbiter), we could include them in the beginning talking to each other. We won't want them to actually talk, so we can include a text bubble which can add to the 2D cartoon effect. I was also thinking it could start out on the ground, maybe in front of the building which the show is shot in front of. Then go through the air. Maybe there could be humorous silhouettes shining through the windows. It would then raise up into the sky where the show logo would be placed. I will be using Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop to create this. In order to make everything stick, I will need to be sure to parent everything to an object. Then by moving one object, I will be moving all objects. That should work fine. Well time to get to work. I'll post another update soon. Hopefully this will only take a few hours to make.
