I started out with just a few pages on my site: Home, For Sale, Contact Us, Links, and Guestbook.  I added pictures and information to the pages.  I later changed the For Sale page to Horses for Sale and also added a 2004-2008 colts/fillies page, which is changed yearly with the new foals (2004-2007, 2004-2008, 2008-2009).  I also added a Classified page, which lists ads for other people (Studs, Wanted, Horses for Sale, etc.), Album page, Bulls and Horses pages, and Web Design page.  I recently added a Photo Gallery page, which shows pictures of the horses out in the pasture, rodeos, cattle, and more.  I added music to the background of a few of the pages as well.  I update my website at least 2-3 times a month.
