The steps to creating a podcast are pretty simple. The hard part is making them interesting and entertaining. Here are the basic steps.

Determine the concept for the podcast.
Decide who the podcast is targeted for - your audience.
Create your team.
- Actor(s) - voices on the podcast
- Engineer - records, exits and posts the podcast
- Marketer(s) - get the word out about the podcast, build an audience
If you plan to make a series of podcasts, you will need a plan.
- How often the podcast will be produced
- How and where it will be published
- How it will be marketed
Decide on the technology that will be used to record and publish the podcast.
- Recording and editing software
- Microphone
Acquire the needed technology.
Record and edit.
Publish. This is uploading it to a site where others can listen and/or download.
Market.
