We'll be making a website using a multitude of tools. What web software we'll be using will be discussed during pre-production stage. The website should not only look nice, but be an effective marketing tool for the description listed below. There will be no deadlines (thank god) on this, so time is not an issue, so let's make sure to make something of the best quality.
For those new to all this, feel free to contact me via Skype or a message here to ask questions on anything. This is a learning experience, and if you're new you'll soon learn that the field is an ongoing learning experience, so take advantage of this to learn something new.
Scenario: To add a bit of fun to this and give everyone something to work off of, this is what we get to know. We are designing an e-commerce site which hopes to sell sporting goods. The name of the business is "Mike's". Along with the creation of the website they will be requiring a logo and a marketing plan. The owner hate's having to scroll to view products and prefers layouts similar to that of Facebook or Lockerz. His target audience is individuals between the ages of 12 and 18 and hopes to have a website that's unique, but fits in with modern styles.
