Many teens these days aspire to play their favorite sport at the collegiate level. Recruiting videos are a classic way to get positive exposure: until now, these videos can cost hundreds of dollars to produce and take weeks to be completed by professionals. These professionals often misunderstand how the athletes want to be represented, leaving the athlete with serious monetary and time losses. With all the technology available today, athletes should be able to market themselves to every college of theirvdreams. Making a videa is easier than you think! There's a few short steps and the only equipment necessary besides your computer are a video camera and a digital camera if you would like to include still shots in your completed tape. As an athlete who is in the middle of the recruiting process, I would have liked advice and ressources as I began the seemingly daunting process of being considered for college sports...this project will definately show you how easy and effective it can be to market your athletic abilities! p.s. Don't think this project is solely for athletes...visual, recording, and performing artists can send their best work in video form too!
