Description
This is the first animtion that I did with Toon Boom Studio. It is a public service announcement regarding littering. It really is amazing what is dropped in the street (like a goat or anvil (you'll see)). Enjoy, and don't litter!
Basic Steps & Resources
Basic Steps
1. Pre-production: The animation was planned out using a storyboard after researching about the topic. A general length was set (45 seconds).
2. Production: I began by drawing in the background and then draw in the speaking character and objects. The majority of the drawing was done directly in Toon Boom but some textures were created in Gimp. Then I began animating everything according to the events planned out in ste one.
3. Finishing: After basic animation was complete, I added music, sound effects, and narration (recorded/edited in Audacity). Then I touched up animations where I felt it was important (such as adjuxting the lip movements). I ran into alot of problems in this phase with the amount of RAM my computer had and some problems in the final project that were beyond my control but I feel that I fixed most of them.
4. Export: We're done here.
