FreshBrain Marketing Ambassador Internships

Job Description:
We are looking for exceptional high school age interns who want to help us on the freshbrain.org platform, leading a marketing program to make FreshBrain successful.  This internship will last three months, and will involve getting the word out about FreshBrain in their high school and local communities.  Prospective interns will need to be comfortable talking to their peers and school administration about FreshBrain and how they might integrate it into their classrooms, clubs or other after school programs  This job is especially suited to young people who are considering careers in marketing and communications and want to get a taste for what the field is like.

This is a great opportunity to build skills in teamwork, marketing, communication and technology.  Successful completion of the internship program will provide the kind of experience valuable for your resume and/or college application.  FreshBrain will be happy to act as a reference as well as provide a certificate of completion.
Requirements:
The internships will last three months and consist of three to eight hours per week of work.  We are looking for teens with the following skills:
  • Communication - verbal and written (using the latest tools and technology)
  • Technology (social networking, IM, developing content)
  • Marketing (talking to people about what FreshBrain does)
  • Experience in technology areas (eg. gaming, video, music)
  • Flexibility
  • Self motivated
The internship will last for 3 months (12 weeks) and will take 3-8 hours per week.

Interns who participate in the program are not paid, but they do get very real value for the time that they put in.

Location:
Our office is located in San Jose, California.  However, we are looking for interns in every region of the country.

FreshBrain Music Content Internship

Job Description:
We are looking for a high school age intern who wants to help us on the freshbrain.org platform, assisting in music content programs and marketing to make FreshBrain successful.  This internship will last four months, and will involve creating written, audio, and video content related to music on FreshBrain.

The ideal candidate would be available 4-6 hours a week, would be a well-versed musician or obsessed with music, in addition to being proficient in Microsoft Word/Open Office and the Internet. Basic desk top publishing experience a plus.

This job is especially suited to young people who are considering music, editorial and marketing communications careers, and want to get a taste for what these fields are like.

  • Resident of the United States (13 - 18 years of age)
The internship will last for 4 months (16 weeks) and will take 4-6 hours per week.
