 What's your MPG in that thing? Those look like pretty thick tires, so if you're complaining about mileage, swap em out for skinny ones. Keep em inflated. Also, is it a manual? I'm pushing around 21 - 25 MPG city with my car on horrible tires that keep deflating randomly. I also don't want to shell out 500 dollars for tires on a car that costs 1.5k - 2k on the market. | |

It all depends on how I drive. Its manual, so some weeks I'll drive it really hard and get low MPG, while other weeks I'll drive civilized and get around 32-37mpg. The tires aren't that thick and I always check my tire pressure and keep it up. It burns more gas then a regular City Golf due to the fact that its a VR6. | |

Speed bumps = ghey! I have to take them on an angle but I try to find ways around them. And yes, I have ripped off my oil pan once, it was a bad scene. I'm 17 by the way. If your 14, I suggest you start saving all your money for a car fund, its what I did. Gas is becoming such a b!tch so I'm enjoying driving while I can still afford it. And what do you mean by rims on a Golf. VW's are pure win. | |

Do you ever hit speed bumps with your bumper/oil pan? Also, why rimz on a...golf/rabbit. Wai!? I'd 'shop my car, but it's obnoxiously boring. It's basically this.
