Under the "Terms of Scholarship" it is stated that "“Continuing Education Activity” includes the following types of activities: educational courses and instructional programs [focused on the learning or developing of technology oriented skills], award bearing or not, including, but not limited to, year long programs and those for shorter terms during the applicant’s school year or summer (e.g. tuition for college or summer camp programs)."
I plan to start coursework for a pre-medical major next year. If I, by any chance, won something from this competition, would I be allowed to use it towards college tuition?
Also, a question on the medium and style of graphics. I do not have access to a clean scanner, and cannot afford a tablet. Since pen- and pencil-on-paper are my best two formats, would it be possible for me to submit all black-and-white, hand-drawn scanned images? I have a preliminary cover and a sample page all in black-and-white with fine detailing that MS Paint will ruin (I currently lack Photoshop on my computer).
Thank you for your time and attention to this matter!
