I just started here and i'm seeing all these projects. Are they just idea's people are throughing around or do they actually get produced? Can someone please explain this to me. Activities too.

Projects are ideas that are being put together and worked on, either collaboratively or individually. The freshbrain site provides the facilities and workspace to collaborate, share and store the pieces of work.
Work on activities are done outside of freshbrain workspace and users submit their work to those activities.These pieces of work are usually easier than projects.
Also the "My Status" thing. Wow I need help.
