Welcome to the FreshBrain Ambassador Intern Program!

This group is for all interns who are a part of the program.  A place get information and share how things are going.  A place to meet and interact with other interns.

There are five important aspects of this group.

  • Updates.  Please check this regularly.  We will be posting information that will be useful to you.
  • Activities.  These are your weekly assignments.
  • Members.  These are the other interns.
  • Forums.  The place where discussions of any type are help.  Check these out and please participate.
  • Files.  A place where files that you can use will be posted.

You can always Chat with other FreshBrain users.  Friend them and then when they are online (see the top of any page), click on their username and you will begin a chat session.

Description

Welcome to FreshBrain and your next assignment.  We are very happy to have you as part of our Community Development Internship Program.

This week is focused on helping you to continue to learn about FreshBrain.

Basic Steps

Week's Tasks.
  1. Review eveything on freshbrain.org
    • Look at all of the activities and projects
    • Look at the tools
    • Check out the groups
    • Read the about tab and all of the pages under it (eg. Parents)
    • This should take a 1/2-1 hour
  2. Continue to make freshbrain.org yours
    • Add pictures
    • Add an entry to your blog
    • Set your public message
    • This should take less than a 1/2 hour
  3. Enter the current running contest
    • You can actually win, so give it a good try
    • Read the description, the rules, judging, etc.
    • Do what the contest says, create your entry
    • This should take 1-3 hours
  4. Participate in FreshBrain Ambassador Intern Program group
    • Participate in a discussion
    • Create an update that answers the question - "Why is FreshBrain a good thing?"
    • This should take about 1/2 hour
  5. Submit the following to this assignment
    • Comments on anything that you read on the site (what you like, don't like)
    • A link to your contest submission
    • A link to your update on "Why is FreshBrain a good thing?"
    • As always, any constructive feedback on the site (anything that you like or don't like, or things that don't work)
    • Also, if you haven't done so already, the "get to know you" questions
