You could also make the site a little faster. It seems like it's slower than most websites.

Yeah https:// is a lot slower

This has been suggested many times, and I completely agree.

I am not an expert but I think one of the factors could be the https:// rather than the standard http://

My understanding is that since it is https:// that it has to encrypt and de-crypy all the data, which coud create lag if this is the case. 

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong on this.
