The best way is to start out with your concept. Is it about family? About a trip you took? Thinks that you like?

Then decide on what materials you will use. Will it be all photos or will you mix other things in as well.

And how will you assemble it. Will you do this completely online using a graphical or photo editing tool? Or will you glue it together from the pictures and other things that you plan to collected.

Find all of the components of the collage.

Lay or cut them out, crop, etc.

Save of glue them down.
