Description

In this activity, you will place 3D objects (sections of rail) into your scene. These will be the first real pieces of your game. You will:

  • select objects from the object library
  • place them into the scene

Skills you will learn include:

  • using the Wild Pockets object library
  • dropping and positioning objects in your scene

Basic Steps

  1. Visit http://wildpockets.com and log in to your account.
  2. Click on the Build icon (the screwdriver) to enter the Builder.
  3. Open your previously saved scene. If you don't know how to do this, don't worry, the Wild Pockets tutorial will help you.
  4. Visit the Creating Content page of the Wild Pockets My First Game tutorial, and follow the instructions. When completed, you will have added objects into your scene.
  5. Complete the activity by submitting the URL for your game.  In the builder, go to the File menu, and select Send To A Friend.  A small dialog box will pop up containing a URL; copy the URL and submit it to the activity.  The URL will probably be longer than you can see in the box, so be sure to scroll and grab all of the text!
