Description
This is the one you have been waiting for. It is a challenge activity that asks you to describe a lifestyle connected to one of FreshBrain's partners - Kahuna Creations. Follow their Island Lifestyle theme and create your video around the Outdoor Lifestyle. The idea is to create a video that uses multimedia creatively and draws upon everything you've learned so far. This one is longer; put something together that is between two and three minutes.
At this point, you probably recognize that the planning for longer pieces has to be that much better in order for the video to work well. At this point, however, you know what you need to be able to do it.
Kahuna is involved with all manner of cool outdoors stuff, such as biking, skating, skate boarding, snow boarding, skiing, and surfing. Your piece would go into the Lifestyles Video Contest, and you could win PRIZE.
As before, go looking for as much creativity as you can find in other campers' pieces, at NextVista.org, at YouTube, or anywhere else you can get inspiration for raising your video editing game to another level. Make us proud!
Basic Steps
Kahuna Creations is all about the "Island Lifestyle," so going with that theme, get involved with this Outdoor Lifestyle Video Contest. Create a video that represents the outdoor lifestyle to you. Make it serious, fun, funny, beautiful or inspirational. Show your creativity and skill and win some great prizes.
When you have created your video, upload it to this activity.
Rules
Here is a summary.
- Must be US resident age 13-18 to participate
- Must have completed the "Make Exceptional Videos" learning path
- Video must be of your own creation (do not use copyrighted material)
- Related to outdoor lifestyle
- No longer than 3 minutes
- Standard video formats only (avi, mov, mp4, mpg, mpeg, wmv)
- Submit between 6/15/09 and midnight pacific 8/18/09
- Enter as many times as you would like!
